This is how your Appointment will be:

01. Records Taking

The first step of the Appointment will consist on the taking of records. Our team will get the necessary digital Scans, X-rays and pictures to fully understand your current smile. Don’t worry – you won’t have any dental procedures, and we won’t take dental impressions using that uncomfortable paste.

This step is key as it will allow our team to understand what’s going on with your current smile. Technology allows us to see parts that otherwise we would not be able to perceive and the digital records will allow the doctor to design and plan your smile without you having to be in the office.

And also, it’s a really fun step! You’ll feel like a model when we take the pictures! 

02. Doctor Evaluation

After all the records and the pictures are taken, it’s time for Dr. Soto to come into play.

She will complete a comprehensive evaluation of your mouth, jaw, and bone structure to assess any concerns. 

This examination includes an oral cancer screening and a comprehensive exam to complete the diagnosis and develop a treatment plan based on your priority and needs.

03. Presentation of Diagnosis

Once the evaluation is completed, the next step is the presentation of the diagnosis.

In this step, the Doctor will help you understand what improvements could be made or which issues are causing (or could cause) problems in your mouth. 

You will have a clear picture and fully understand the current situation of your mouth and smile.

04. Hygiene and Cleaning

And the final step is the hygiene appointment.

Our team will take care of you and take you to the hygiene room where our hygienist will carry out a periodontal evaluation of your gum and teeth and perform a full mouth cleaning so you can leave refreshed. 

The hygiene appointment includes the use of the latest technology thanks to our Aquacare and our specialized hygienist will check your x-rays to get a sense of the gum health and ensure the best care for your needs.

At the end, she will take the time to share her findings and explain what it means for your dental health, so you leave feeling informed and confident.

Dr. Karla Soto is passionate about creating smiles.
